Purpose The intern will support a variety of fundraising activities within the College of Visual and Performing Arts, which includes the Schools of Art, Dance, Music, and Theater; the Arts Management, Film and Video Studies, and Computer Game Design programs; as well as the Great Performances season at the Center for the Arts.

Specific Areas of Involvement Specific projects will be coordinated based on the needs of the Development Office and the interests of the chosen candidate but may include the following types of activity:
In addition to working on overall effective communications, we will be using resources such as MS Word, MS Excel, Advance (the University’s fundraising database), and design tools. Experience with the MS Office suite and facility with spreadsheets is helpful; discretion and confidentiality are required.
Supervision The Development Office Intern will work with Brian Marcus, Associate Dean for Development and Alumni Affairs; Deborah Páez Hoesly, Director of Development; Kathryn Hansen, Assistant Director of Development; and Ryan Braaten, Assistant Director of Development.
